Who We Are
The Robostangs are a student-led FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team based at Northville High School located in Michigan. FIRST, or 'For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology' is an organization that holds robotics competitions for teams all over the world. FIRST Robotics teams design, program, and build a robot according to a themed challenge given at the start of each season. The FIRST Organization aims to instill key values such as "Discovery, Innovation, Teamwork, and most importantly Fun". Our 70+ team members work towards spreading the message of FIRST within our community and beyond, including supporting Middle and Elementary School robotics teams.

We achieve this through our five values - Unity, Leadership, STEAM, Community, and Inclusion.
Unity: Everything we do, we do as a team.
Community: We are a critical part of our community. We find ways to give back and offer value to our community.
STEM: We incorporate STEM education on our team, in our pipeline, and in our outreach events. We apply what we learn in the build and competition season.
Leadership: We are leaders in FIRST Robotics and youth STEM activities. We develop future STEM and business leaders in industry. We are a proudly student-lead team.
Inclusion: We push boundaries to include new demographics in STEM. Our team is a place where people from all backgrounds are welcome.
