Magna/Troy Coalition Camp

  • MAGNA-1
  • MAGNA-2

Through our interactive demonstrations and with the help from the Bloomfield Hills Bionic Blackhawks, team 2834, we introduced kids attending a STEM camp at Magna in Troy here to the different programs FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) offers.

Robot demonstrations captivated the audience of tweens, getting them enthusiastic about science and engineering. The Blackhawks presented great information about getting started through the program, tailoring to each of the different age groups. The campers were then allowed to ask questions, whether about school, robotics, or something completely different!

We then finished off the demonstration with a fun game of catching fuel, showcasing one of the most visually appealing points of the game this year. Overall, this event was a huge success!
