From July 24 through July 28, The Robostangs hosted their annual robocamp. Over these 5 days, kids from 3rd through 8th grade learned the values of competition and teamwork. For the first few days, with help from Robostang students, the kids learned how to build a Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot, participate in fun activities, and drive our robot from the 2017 season. Towards the end of camp, the campers put their robots for competition. The game, called Robostangs Rush, comprised of many pieces from previous FLL games and revolved around Coopertition, a value FIRST instills much in its community. Overall, the camp was great experience for the campers and we hope to continue and grow this camp for the future.
